City Clerk
On November 4, 2014, City of Pleasant Hill voters passed a ballot measure to change the City Clerk to an appointed position effective December 2016 when the current elected term ends. 

The City Clerk:
  • Conducts City of Pleasant Hill elections
  • Prepares the official minutes of City Council meetings
  • Is the caretaker for the City Seal and official city records
  • Acts as the filing officer for the Political Reform Act of 1974
  • Monitors compliance with city / state campaign finance and conflict of interest laws
  • Reviews the processing and completion of city ordinances, resolutions, contracts and agreements
  • Administers Oaths of Office
