City Clerk
The City Clerk is elected for a four-year term on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November of even-numbered years. The City Clerk:
- Conducts City of Pleasant Hill elections
- Prepares the official minutes of City Council meetings
- Is the caretaker for the City Seal and official city records
- Acts as the filing officer for the Political Reform Act of 1974
- Monitors compliance with city / state campaign finance and conflict of interest laws
- Reviews the processing and completion of city ordinances, resolutions, contracts and agreements
- Administers Oaths of Office
