The City of Pleasant Hill has begun the process to update its Housing Element. This document is part of the General Plan, which helps guide the City’s growth. State law requires the City to periodically update its Housing Element and identify how the City will satisfy its regional share of housing, which is comprised of affordable and market-rate units.
A number of public hearings will be held in the coming months. The dates and times for these meetings will be published in the newspaper, on the City’s webpage, in the City’s newsletter and free-standing A-frames on prominent street locations throughout the City.
