Diablo Valley Relay for Life in Pleasant Hill

Relay for Life is organized locally and benefits the American Cancer Society in its fight against cancer. This 24-hour event involves teams of participants who have pledged to continue walking around the track at PH Middle School in an effort to raise funds and awareness to save lives around the world from cancer. Citywide Garage Sale

Don’t Trash It – Sell It!” That’s the tagline of the 3rd Annual Citywide Garage Sale. Organized by Allied Waste Services and the Civic Action Commission, this event gives residents the opportunity to hold their garage sales on the same weekend and get free promotion from the City and Allied Waste. Residents can register their sale at www.pleasanthillgaragesale.com. The organizers will publicize the streets (but not house numbers) which are hosting a sale that weekend.
