CERT Training Application - the next CERT training class begins Saturday, April 9th. Here are the complete details:
|The Pleasant Hill Police Department, in conjunction with the County Office of Emergency Services and the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District, is sponsoring Emergency Preparedness classes for residents of Pleasant Hill.
Emergency Planning experts predict that residents may be without utilities and basic community emergency services for a week following a major earthquake. CERT training promotes a partnering effort between emergency services and the people they serve. The goal is to train members of neighborhoods and community organizations in basic emergency skills to become better prepared and to assist their families and neighbors following a disaster.
CERT training will include six 3 hour classes, one night per week, over a 6 week period.
Subjects you will be taught include:
